Hey! I'm Mandy

This is my first blog so I figured I would just introduce myself so I can get a feel of it. I grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina when I was eight. I moved around a lot after my parents got divorced. I went to school at UNCW in Wilmington, North Carolina and got my B.A. in Secondary Math Education...yes, I'm a nerd :) I met my husband my freshman year of college on New Year's Eve and we dated for 2.5 years before he proposed to me at the top of the Eiffel Tower on our vacation to Europe. Our plan was to get married right after I graduated, but that changed when he got orders to England with the USAF. We ended up getting married in March 2015, two weeks before he left for England, while I stayed in NC to finish my degree in May 2015. After graduation, I joined my husband, Phillip, and we have been living here for 7 months. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to travel and live our first four years (possibly more) of married life abroad. In my blog, I plan to write about all of our travels, as well as my everyday thoughts.

I try to live life to the fullest because it is too short.
